“Anamorphic Alphabet”

Anamorphic Alphabet is the creation of both upper and lower case letters in one letter form, while using a single line that never intersects. In addition to that rule, constraints in the cap height and baseline were imposed on all letters which added another design challenge.

I started this during my final year of college for graphic design, when they did not offer any classes for creating your own typograpy. I started first by sketching everything on paper using an isometric grid, then I moved into creating them in Affinity Designer.

Since its inception I have created the full alphabet in wood, some in ceramic clay and now I am moving into metal sculpture. I have also painted these as murals, fine art pieces, and my plan and goal is to create large-scale public art sculptural pieces.
